After an extremely long, complicated and frustrating home loan transaction with another lender, I am now able to say my escrow has successfully closed two weeks ago-an ongoing process that consumed over one year of heartache and uncertainty.
When I was at the point of abandoning what was short of nothing more than a nightmare, Tony stepped up to the plate and made things happen. He offered me optimism, hope, incredible relief as he preserved what was otherwise, a near-hopeless situation.
His professionalism, courtesy, follow-up, constant feedback and genuine concern was nothing short of miraculous and I am eternally grateful to have the opportunity to work with him and have him on my side. What an amazing blessing he has been!
None of the other (countless) individuals involved throughout this agonizing transaction were able to perform and produce the positive results attained with Tony and he never fell short of following though with what he said he would do.
When he took over the transaction early in July, 2011, he offered me hope and encouragement at a point when I felt empty, disillusioned and fearing the worst. This man is a “saint “and his extreme diligence and hard work is the reason why I am now, proudly, a new homeowner. His loan processor, Sajwa, reinforced the success of this process.
Tony should be recognized into the “mortgage broker’s Hall of Fame”! He deserves it!!

Hello! I just wanted everyone to know that I looked around for a long time for a refi guy. I found Tony and I immediately knew I found the right person. Tony called one to three to four times a day every day---whatever it took. I didn't have to guess about anything. I had many questions and even though I repeated many of them, he always answered them again and again without frustration of any kind. At the end of the process he then lowered my rate even more without charge because the market went lower. As I said, I looked around a lot before finding him, everyone else just seemed like 'used car salesmen trying to get your business!!" Tony Hood is the best mortgage banker around. My first loan with Tony was for a short sale in August of 2006. I made an offer on a Condo in April 2006 and apparently was second in line. I never heard anything and then in August 2009, the real estate agent told me that it had fallen out of escrow and that I was now first in line. The only catch was that the bank now wanted a 10 day escrow. So I found Tony and ran him against the loan broker that the real estate agent had suggested. As time went on I could tell that a 10 day escrow was going to be really hard. The broker that was suggested by the real estate agent seemed to be dragging, especially because I wanted a 30 year fixed. Tony was going at warp speed and I used him, especially because the other guy really did not seem interested in doing the 30 year fixed. I found out later that loan brokers get paid better for ARM, interested only and other non-conventional loan packages. Tony was right on top of it and I closed in 10 days.
About a year later, rates dropped and Tony did a refinance for me at very favorable rates and at no cost!
I recently bought another property and tony did the loan for me again. I have to say things are different in 2009 than they were in 2006 or 2007, but Tony got it done again with a really nice loan.
Tony Hood is the most honest and reliable mortgage banker that I have ever met. You can’t go wrong with Tony.
